The inaugural Catalyst Report was released in 2017, presenting new market statistics on the cusp of major CDC reforms. The study gathered feedback from over 4,000 Australians in two age categories 45-65 and 65+. Survey respondents where either users or shoppers for home care services, or family members / carers of those ‘in market’. The study looked at choice criteria, information sources, brand awareness, service offer preferences and technology issues.

The 2018 Catalyst Report was another 4,000+ response study that tracked market changes and added other elements including of decision making triggers, advertising awareness, shopping experience, provider satisfaction, churn factors and service model preferences.

This presentation will review difference in how the ‘kids’ approach the home care market compared to their parents. Findings from The Catalyst Report will be combined with broader market insights, providing an appreciation of the decision making mind-set of Gen X’ers and Baby Boomers.
Delegates will gain a new understanding of how to engage a younger audience, both as shoppers and potential future customers.
