Amanda’s approach to presenting is to ensure every delegate has a new tool or tip to think about or implement straight away. This presentation will provide practical steps and provide client  and Mirus Australia examples of what we did, why we did it and the results in the past financial year. Amanda uses personal stories that are relatable to highlight the importance of customer empathy which drives the difference between good marketing and great marketing. Amanda is passionate about build scalable sales and marketing functions that promote a great customer experience and performance.

Biography:

Amanda is the Chief Marketing Officer at Mirus Australia. Amanda joined the aged care sector, after returning to Australia after 6 years living and working in New York. Previously, she worked for WPP, a global media, and advertising company, working directly with clients like Dell Computers, Proctor, and Gamble, Saks 5th Avenue, GlaxoKlineSmith, and ATT. Prior to re-joining Mirus Australia in 2018, Amanda identified and developed the marketing strategy and implementation for an aged care education provider in readiness for roll out across Australia, United Kingdom, Ireland and New Zealand. Amanda was a Non-Executive Director of the Seniors Rights Service and a current Non-Executive Director of Global Anaphylaxis and Inclusivity and Awareness. Amanda enjoys spending time in nature, recharging and finding new and inspiring ideas in the world around her. She has walked some of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and she can be found surfing the net for local destinations to walk in NSW in 2020!
